We are currently looking to add a Partner Marketing Manager to our amazing Americas Regional Marketing team!

The Partner Marketing Manager role is responsible for planning, developing, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives with BMC Partners in North America. The focus is to assist partners on driving tactics across brand reputation, demand generation and customer engagement to increase partner pipeline and revenue generated by and with partners.

What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Develop and execute best-in-class partner marketing plans with well-defined metrics that effectively drive demand generation for BMC solutions
  • Work closely with the Partner Managers to identify priority marketing initiatives. Secure partner’s commitment to drive execution of joint Marketing plans
  • Plan and execute demand generation campaigns to generate qualified leads, grow pipeline and revenue conversion. Track results across all stages of the buyer journey
  • Support and manage cross-function engagement with a variety of organizations including Product Marketing, Sales, Communications, Enablement and Regional Marketing
  • Be the “voice of the partner” for marketing within BMC to assist the progressive improvement on joint marketing contributions and sales engagement
  • Manage partner MDF budget requests, tracking requests approval, marketing spend and reimbursement claims
  • Collaborate with Global Partner Programs and Regional Partner Marketing teams
  • Own and manage the day-to-day relationships, operations, and marketing performance tracking with target partners
  • Lead engagement with Partners CXOs to set the right expectations and grow relationship

Required Background

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • 5-10 years of Partner and/or Field Marketing experience managing and executing a mix of direct marketing activities that build the brand, create demand, and accelerate pipeline (i.e., face-to-face events, digital campaigns, account-based marketing, business development, etc.); enterprise software experience a plus.
  • Capable of managing, and driving engagements across areas within a very dynamic environment which includes sales, sales operations, marketing, communications, advertising, and corporate events
  • Experience delivering successful campaigns and programs with strong ROI – on time, within budget.
  • 3rd party vendor management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and diverse points of view.
  • Reasonable understanding of the different types of partners in the market (SIs, VARs, GOSIs, Resellers, etc.)
  • Comfortable providing a strong point of view on Partner Marketing engagements aligning sales and marketing ecosystems pursuing marketing best practices.
  • A data-driven marketer with knowledge of marketing and reporting tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and other leading automation marketing software, SaaS or technologies to effectively run and measure ROI on all regional campaigns and programs.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheets, social media tools (LinkedIn Campaign Mgr, Twitter), Partner Tools (e.g., Solution Provider Portal, iLearn)
