We’re fully remote within +/- 5 hours of GMT, or you can work from our Hub in central London—whatever you prefer.


The role

We’re looking for a Head of Operations/Partnerships to join Sequence and become the beating heart of our company. Working closely with our CEO, you’ll help us build the Future of FinOps, with all the thrill and pace of building from scratch, and the resources to grow quickly to become a category creating company. You’ll help Sequence scale, be responsible for developing and executing global strategies for our most important external partners and build a world class business operation.

Sequence is run by a team of experienced operators. You’ll be setting strategy alongside the exec team and play a critical role in steering the organisation to achieve its goals, as well as building highly impactful programs which will be key to differentiating Sequence. This role involves wearing many hats and acting as a bridge across different parts of the organisation.

What you’ll do
  • Build and manage Sequence’s most critical financial partnerships with banks and other financial partners, to help Sequence deliver it’s product offering. 

  • Leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies 

  • Connect the dots across sales, marketing, finance and product to drive velocity in the business 

  • Develop the operational infrastructure of our company, ensuring we can onboard and delight customers at scale

  • Build an onboarding and KYB engine to help us give our customers a delightful experience and ensuring Sequence stays compliant

  • Live and breathe FinOps. Spot market trends and new opportunities for the business as we scale.

Who you’ll be
  • 8+ years of experience in partner management, business development, operations, or strategic project management in a high growth environment.

  • Extensive experience working with financial institutions and a strong FinTech background

  • Have a founder mentality—opportunistic, ambitious, and realising that growth solves (almost) all problems

  • A proven track record of working in a product centric environments 

  • Broad experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go to market models

  • An operationally focused mindset, with the ability to see a deal through to success
