About the role

The creative producer role is a vital role in our Design Department, being responsible for the creation of videos and motion graphic content to enhance the visual experience of our apps and to showcase the benefits of our apps with the rest of the world. The creative producer will create video for marketing, product design, social media and more by writing scripts, shooting video, animating, editing and collaborating with stakeholders to final handoff. action.

Responsibilities
  • Create video and motion graphics from initial concept to final handoff

  • Use video editing and motion design software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cinema 4d and Adobe Animate

  • Handle all aspects of producing a video from creating rough cuts, animations, scripts, 3d animations, sound design and more

  • Process client briefs to deliver projects that meet the expected goals and deadlines

  • Utilize professional lighting techniques, operate camera, secure talent and locations, record on-set audio and source voice overs

  • Make necessary edits based on client feedback to scripts, rough cuts and animations

  • Submit projects for feedback and approval using team slack channels

  • Adhere and contribute to the ongoing development of video and motion design guidelines

  • Continuously seek to improve processes and workflows for your areas of responsibility

  • Constantly strive for higher quality outputs and greater efficiency

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, development and other design team members

  • Always analyze the competition so we can strive to do better

  • Identify and communicate problems so we can work toward finding solutions

  • Analyze and implement video and motion design trends

  • Incorporate brand imagery and follow brand guidelines when producing content

  • Produce videos that elevate our brand and show the user the benefits of our products

  • Create campaigns designed to meet company targets and broader business goals

  • Craft beautiful video and motion design content that connects with user’s in an authentic way

  • Brainstorm ideas with other team members, seek inspiration online or use other methods that allow your creativity to flourish

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders’ creative decisions by backing up your ideas with examples and sound reasoning

  • Collaborate with other designers and across teams on slack

  • Proficient in English

  • 5+ Years as a video producer, motion designer, camera operator, animator or related field

  • Expert in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4d, Illustrator, Photoshop or related video and motion design software

What Happens Next?

We expect to review your application ASAP. You’ll hear from us within 2-3 days if we decide to invite you to a People Interview. This will be a video interview with a member of our People Operations Team (approx. 30 min). You will both talk through your background and your approach to remote, teamwork and Air Apps.
After the People Interview, the top candidates will proceed to the Technical Assignment. The assignment is representative of the kind of day-to-day work you’d be doing on the team. We usually only invite candidates to this stage that meet minimum standards, and those candidates should follow the deadline laid out upon its receiving. After the Technical Assignment, the top candidates will proceed to the Technical Interview stage. You’ll talk with hiring manager for the role about your technical knowledge, experience and discuss the position (approx. 1h).
The next phase of the hiring process will be a Soft Skills interview. Here, one of our Learning and Development team members will meet with you regarding your communication skills, social skills, and personal attributes.
The top candidates will proceed to the final stage, the Team Interview. You’ll talk to the hiring manager and one of the team’s members to go over the team dynamics and collaboration.

After the interviewing process is complete, you will be asked to provide a minimum of three references that we can check before advancing to the last step. We aim to make an offer 3-5 days after the references are provided.
