Content Marketing Manager

You will help develop, execute, and proliferate our voice in the Market. Content is a key pillar in our marketing strategy. We’re a rapidly growing Fintech that’s bringing meaningful impact to our customers within the enterprise wealth space. This role reports to our Head of Marketing and will be responsible for content creation and content program management to grow the funnel, build trust and credibility, and help us grow the business.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee and develop the content strategy for each buyer-type journey, developing assets where we have gaps, and tell the CapIntel brand
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and tone
  • Provide analysis around how content is driving business impact.
  • Use analytics to determine the best way to engage users, create advocacy, generate customers, and measure brand awareness
  • Execute content promotion & distribution strategies that effectively increase the consumption of CapIntel’s content, drive full funnel and deal flow with our buyers & end-users
  • Tactics include but are not limited to SEO strategy, white papers, testimonials, webinars, videos, blog posts, website/social media, emails, campaigns, and more.
  • Work with the executive, marketing, sales, client success, product, and other key teams across the company to set and execute a content roadmap to articulate internal and external key messages

Who you are and what you bring

  • 3+ years’ work experience writing and producing content
  • Background in finance, technology, SaaS, or fintech is preferred
  • Impeccable writing style, attention to detail, and editing skills
  • An independent mindset and ability to execute to completion in a deadline-driven environment but also remain nimble and quickly shift project priorities as business needs fluctuate
  • A high level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • A demonstrated understanding of SEO and a philosophy on how it lives hand-in-hand with consumable content
  • Highly proficient in Google Analytics
  • A willingness to measure what works and what doesn’t, and to learn through iteration
  • You’re the people’s champ; you love working in a team setting and helping solve problems
  • Bold, gritty, and curious about all things
  • An understanding of UX writing and content design is a PLUS!

Where we work

  • Remote first. We trust our teammates to find the work location that allows them to do their best work – remotely or in person. We’re a Canadian based, remote-first environment, with in-office collaboration zone and individual workspaces in Gatineau, QC or Halifax, NS and hubs of virtual employees in Southwestern Ontario (and a few others scattered across Canada). For this role, we do find value in our teammates being able to connect, collaborate, learn from and mentor one another in-person, so we are looking for someone who will primarily work from home but be able to commute monthly to a central location in Toronto to connect, collaborate, learn from and mentor with teammates.
  • Eastern time zone We operate in the Eastern Time Zone and trust you to manage your work responsibilities in the time that supports your teammates, feeds your ingenuity, and creates a sustainable and healthy balance with your personal life.
  • Equipment set up We’ll set you up with your choice of PC or Mac, and provide you with a $750 equipment spending account to purchase the additional equipment you need to set up your virtual space and do your best work.
