Job Description
Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Web Content Writer 1, 04-month Contract role for our Fortune 500 clients at Plano, TX (Remote). Apply today for immediate consideration.
Duties:
- Write assistance content (help files, video scripts, articles) for the Client’s family of products. –
- Be responsible for the customer-facing help articles for any of product’s offerings to our suite of attach products
- Transform complex accounting jargon into conversational, approachable language.
- Collaborate effectively with other designers, writers, product managers, customer success supportability specialists, and tax content analysts
- Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to content design reviews
- Work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
- Edit and publish self-help content in WordPress
- Evangelize the Product’s voice and tone through example, training, and reviews
- Push and evolve content frameworks and patterns based on brand guidelines
- Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
- Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
- Work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing/advertising content writing, content strategy, or journalism preferred
- Experience in WordPress (Gutenberg)
- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
- Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience – (English, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field)
