Senior Software Engineer

100% Remote

Core10 is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will assist us with the design, development and implementation of software solutions.

Core10 is a rapidly growing, full-service tech company headquartered in Nashville, TN. We specialize in software development, API integration and SaaS implementation services to the best financial services and FinTech (Financial Technology) organizations in North America. We are also an industry leader with our banking platform, Accrue: a digital lending and banking SaaS provider for community banks, credit unions, FinTechs, and consumers.

What you’ll do:

• Write high quality code with enterprise-Grade Development Framework: Node.js, Typescript, Express, etc…
• Work on agile-scrum project teams to deliver software features and enhancements.
• Work with cloud infrastructures that would allow the team architect systems that are scalable both to current and future demand.
• Build scalable and reusable components using JavaScript (Node.js, Angular, React)
• Lead and participate in code reviews

• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• 6+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer specifically with Node.js

• Experience with GitHub version control
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript and REST API development
• Experience with common JavaScript frameworks like Typescript, Express, and Node.js
• Experience with a frontend JavaScript framework like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience working within an agile team environment

• Experience working with non-relational databases like MongoDB and/or DynamoDB

Bonus points:

• Banking or Fintech experience

• Experience with using tsoa to create Swagger documentation
• Experience working with third party integrations like Plaid, Stripe, Dwolla, etc.
• Experience with FeathersJS
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience with Postman

• Cloud-based experience with AWS
• Microservices architecture experience
• Experience with event driven architecture
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience writing GitHub Actions CI/CD scripts

• Experience with web components or micro-frontends
