We are seeking a growth-minded PR Manager who is passionate about crafting succinct, articulate and strategic communications. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to client and company objectives and is dedicated to serving our clients with passion, integrity and enthusiasm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and execute strategic public relations recommendations that align with clients’ brand and deliver on objectives
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships
  • Conduct ongoing consumer and trade media relations, including identifying story angles, building relationships with media, and the ability to secure news coverage for agency clients
  • Develop a wide range of written materials for a variety of communications channels (news releases, articles, blog posts, brand key messages, speeches, social media posts, and e-newsletters, among other pieces)
  • Effectively conduct primary or secondary research to support content or writing projects, giving your work greater context and/or audience relevancy
  • Incorporate best practices and principals of SEO into your writing efforts and advise clients on how and why certain terms, phrasing, tags, or hashtags are used
  • Independently manage time and projects, while meeting internal and external deadlines
  • Leverage your understanding of integrated brand marketing communications (creative, media, content strategy, digital and social media) to develop effective cross-discipline programs for agency clients
  • Support clients at trade shows including effectively launch new products and secure news coverage
  • Professionally represent agency at client meetings, events and trade shows and have experience with formal presentations
  • Monitor public relations and marketing trends to identify strategic opportunities for clients
  • Provide constructive feedback on work projects and share industry knowledge with team members
  • Effectively report results and demonstrate return on investment
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with coworkers and industry representatives.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations – agency experience is a plus
  • A passion for PR – you think in terms of the news cycle and you are interested in all types of media (broadcast, print, podcasts, radio, online, social media, etc.)
  • You have personally researched media outlets and contacts, written a pitch, made a pitch, successfully secured media, and cultivated the relationship from start to finish by yourself
  • Team oriented and ability to work independently
  • Able to multitask and prioritize assignments and meet deadlines while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and confident when interacting in person, in writing and on the phone
  • Excellent writer with experience using AP style and writing for various mediums
  • Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or another related field

This is a full-time position that comes with unlimited PTO, 401k, health care stipend, professional development. This position is remote, but the ideal candidate will be based in or near Las Vegas, Nevada.
