About the job-Enterprise Account Executive


  • Whereabouts: We are a fully remote company with distributed team members. However, we are looking for someone in any North American time zone that can ideally bring direct contacts within sports, media, and entertainment
  • Salary: We have budgeted $80-110k USD for this position but encourage all candidates who are excited about the role and qualify to apply. This position will also have a commission structure in addition to base salary.
  • Visas: We do not sponsor work visas or relocation expenses.
  • Interviews: Phone Screen with Nicole-People & Culture Lead (30 minutes), Second Interview with Eric-President/Co-Founder & David Minetti-VP of Sales (45-60 minutes), a Third interview to meet AJ & Marinna-our two Account Executives (30 minutes), and a Fourth Interview with Michael-CEO/Co-Founder & Will-COO/Co-Founder (30 minutes)
    • Any final candidates will be asked to complete a 60-day plan assignment
    • Any final candidates will also have an opportunity to meet your new potential Sales team and other Slate team members
  • Ideal Start Date: November/December 2022

The ideal Enterprise Account Executive has a strong sales track record in the technology sector (content creation is a major bonus); developing, qualifying, and closing new business SaaS deals. You hustle to build sales processes that drive strong Sales growth, which is why this role requires a high-energy over achiever who will be able to de๏ฌne our local strategy and evangelize a global marketplace. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of building Slateโ€™s pipeline, driving revenue, and ensuring long-term success in our target customer demographic.

You will:

  • Demo Slate solution to qualified leads and take them down the sales funnel all the way to close
  • Become an expert in communicating Slateโ€™s value proposition to different types of organizations with the goal of converting them into loyal customers
  • Become an expert in enterprise social media & content creation, learn how to โ€œspeak the languageโ€ of our core customers, identify their pain points, and make compelling & relevant outreach to get them interested in learning more
  • Map out client organizations and build relationships with multiple contacts focusing on decision-makers
  • Generate your own sales pipeline by doing some targeted outbound, networking, leveraging your mutual connections, and finding other creative ways to book your own meetings
  • Partner with the sales leadership team and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive revenue growth
  • Create and present solutions that meet the unique needs of each prospective client
  • Meet quarterly and annual ARR goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects to enable open communication and support between clients and Slate
  • Gather and share prospect feedback internally to inform Slateโ€™s product roadmap and better align feature launches with market trends
  • Track and accurately forecast revenue to our executive team, making Salesforce hygiene a top priority
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of our technology, industry trends, and competition



  • 5+ years of strategic sales experience ideally in the enterprise SaaS space
  • A proven track record of exceeding goals in an Enterprise organization
  • Experience selling into the media & entertainment vertical
  • Authenticity and ability to develop rapport quickly
  • Ability to communicate articulately while maintaining high attention to detail: from in-person to phone calls, to emails
  • High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes
  • Highly organized and can handle multiple prospects with ease
  • Entrepreneurship: a self-starter who has a high sense of urgency and can work within undefined processes
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with Outreach.io a plus
