Looma exists to connect shoppers to the people and stories behind food & beverage products. Our first product, Loop™ At-Shelf Maker Stories, is a network of smart tablets in grocery stores that play short, human-centric films connecting producer to consumer. The data generated by Loop™ fuels our proprietary film production and optimization processes, forming a flywheel we believe will one day power the world’s most sophisticated platform for human-centric point-of-decision video.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Director of Project Management to design and drive our project planning and implementation process as we grow to $10M+ over the next few years. Our revenue growth is driven by new installations of tablets across a network of grocery retailers. We currently operate a network of 1,000+ tablets in over 400 retail stores and expect to grow our network to 10,000+ tablets in 2,000+ retail stores in the next year. We’re looking for an incredibly organized project manager who can a) improve upon our project planning and execution process as we scale to ensure an exceptionally polished experience for our retail partners b) be the standard-bearer of our core value of “polish” c) build a project team to support our continued growth and d) drive deliverables and execution across the company . This role reports to our Head of Retail Operations.

The responsibilities for this role can be split into four primary categories:

  1. Project planning process & performance (30%) 
  2. Project management (50%) 
  3. Vendor management (10%) 
  4. Team management (10%) 

Project planning process & performance (30%)

  • Design project planning process to maintain flawless execution of operationally-complex product rollouts 
  • Develop KPIs to measure project planning effectiveness within and across multiple projects
  • Identify and deploy tools to support project execution and KPI measurement
  • Work cross-functionally to get input on proposed processes and KPIs

 

Project management (50%)

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to manage projects and deliverables for complex product rollouts
  • Use influence to drive deliverables and execution across stakeholders
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Keep projects on schedule with flawless, polished execution

 

Vendor management (10%)

  • Oversee management of 3rd party outsource partners for contract installations
  • Oversee all training and certification programs for 3rd party installers

 

Team Management (10%)

  • Hire, train and develop team members
  • Manage installation excellence team

Structure & Compensation 

Looma will provide a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary and stock options. All Looma compensation packages include cash / equity flexibility (i.e. you can opt for more equity and less cash or vice-versa).
