The Senior Growth Analyst will work closely with Marketing to understand their strategies and campaigns to identify areas for optimisation. The role is to be involved in data exploration and analysis, interpreting the results from a suite of statistical models as well as delivering and embedding the results across the marketing teams. This role will also be responsible for implementing data processes and leading and educating the team regarding data usage. This role sits in our Growth Analytics team and works closely with the marketing team to deliver insights and provide recommendations on marketing performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyse the results of campaigns and strategic marketing activities and present key findings and areas for improvement to stakeholders
  • Perform statistical tests and use other analytical techniques to understand the performance of the latest marketing campaign, LP and other growth initiatives
  • Become established as a subject matter expert in the marketing campaign development process
  • Drive constant review and analysis of marketing activities to proactively identify revenue and growth opportunities
  • Establish effective attribution measurement modelsWork within an agile environment to deliver key insights to the business on performance of Envato’s digital systems and customer behaviours
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to identify trends and supply a variety of stakeholders with the data needed to make effective business decisions. Mostly to the Customer Marketing team.
  • Extract, manipulate and analyse large, complex data setsAssist other members of the team in modelling and validation of customer behaviour (e.g. propensity, churn, LTV, etc.)
  • Undertake documentation of analysis methodologies and facilitate in-house training of stakeholders on using and interpreting delivered reports
  • Form strong working relationships with marketing stakeholders to fully embed the latest outputs and recommendations across the department to inform their decision-making processes
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure business has data collection in place to support measurement of project undertakings
  • Design and build interactive dashboards as required by the Marketing department
  • Produce compelling reports, visualisations and recommendations and present data and insights in the format that meets the needs of the target audience
  • Provide training to the Marketing teams to help fully embed new tools and reports across the department

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as Senior Data Analyst in a complex digital environment
  • Demonstrable experience in providing analysis and finding actionable marketing insights
  • Strong technical skills in data manipulation using  SQLKnowledge of A/B testing (design and analysis) methodologies – advantage
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics platforms and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Experience in Python, R, or any other statistical package (desirable)Experience in pre and post campaign analysis
  • Experience using customer management and customer retention techniques
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work part of the team and independently
  • High level attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation
  • Highly developed analytical, research and planning skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills
