Job Description

ASAP is growing our credit card processing business, and we are looking for a highly self-motivated Partner Growth Manager to join the team. Under the direction of the Regional Sales Director, the Partner Growth Manager is responsible for expanding our credit card processing services  to current restaurant partners, and for calling all existing partners with new marketing opportunities.

However, the ideal candidate will be an experienced account manager that uses a consultative and solutions-based selling approach, have great presentation and communication skills, and have that “hungry” mentality.

Job Functions

  • 75% of the time will be spent calling into existing restaurant partners, scheduling over the phone meetings, and closing credit card processing deals over the phone.
  • 25% of your time will be spent traveling regionally to meet with restaurant partners in person (pulling doors)
  • You will be calling into current partners- an average of over 2 hours of talk time daily or 100 phone calls per day is required for this position.
  • Develop strategic action plans to manage territory and reach company/individual sales goals.
  • Regularly review opportunities and activities with the Regional Sales Director to identify opportunities for restaurant partners to participate in our cash discount program.
  • Work directly with restaurant partners to help them with their in-house credit card processing solutions.
  • Work directly with restaurant partners with additional business services through our loan programs.
  • Establish relationships with decision-makers; restaurant managers and owners.
  • Adjust approach to each potential customer, assess prospect needs, clearly communicate advantages, and identify and overcome challenges that impede the sale.
  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities and develop a strategy for closing new restaurant partner accounts.
  • Use a consultative sales approach, seek to understand potential restaurant partner’s needs, and present solutions that will help their business.
  • Provide consistent and timely follow up communication and action steps after every sales call.
  • Utilize HubSpot (CRM System) to forecast sales pipeline, maintain a record of all conversations, activities, and opportunities.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to applicable rules and guidelines, and review contracts with the Regional Sales Director for accuracy.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Sales and Marketing, or related fields are preferred).
  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years inside/outside sales experience.
  • Successful Record of Sales Achievement: Proven experience cross-selling to current business and generating incremental revenue.
  • Sales Hunter: The position is built for someone who possesses a hunter mentality with a consultative approach.
  • Strong cold calling and professional network development experience.

Additional Responsibilities

  • 25-50% Travel is expected in this position, you will be traveling regionally, 1-2 weeks per month to meet with restaurant partners in person (pulling doors)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Bases salary $50,000-$55,000 annually + Commission, OTE between $100,000-$150,000
