Job Description
Precise Software Solutions, Inc., has an opportunity for a Software Developer. The successful candidate has strong systems, software, Agile and Cloud experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical system in support of the program.
A qualified candidate must have or be able to attain a Public Trust clearance. FDA experience and/or an existing Public Trust clearance is ideal.
In this collaborative, hands-on position, you will work with your Precise team, other companies and federal employees to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. In partnership with your team, you will determine and recommend the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.
Skills/Requirements:
- Proven experience with design, develop, test and deploy in your current and previous experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Angular, Python, Spring / Spring Boot, Java, Javascript, Apache, RHEL OS.
- Extensive hands on experience with the full software development cycle and methodologies
- Experience with DevOps frameworks
- Experience with various software design patterns
- Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
- Proficiency with Agile management tools such as the Atlassian suite
- Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, at minimum
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Oracle DB, Hibernate, JPA, Mongo or Postgres, Jetty, Microservices, Openshift, Gradle, Maven, Ant, Junit, Bitbucket, Cucumber, Gitlab, SonarQube, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Git, Cloudwatch, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse.
- 508 experience/expertise.
Education:
Typically requires BS degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience or Masters’ with 3 years of prior relevant experience.
