Your opportunity  

 We are currently looking for an HRBP (Remote)  to primarily support our sales, technology and to provide secondary support to marketing and finance teams.  This crucial role will report to the VP, People Operations and will be responsible for driving strategic people operations initiatives within the these teams.  The HRBP will be an advisor and strategic partner to leaders with a consistent awareness around implementing and maintaining processes that elevate the employee experience in a rapidly changing and growing environment.  The HRBP will partner closely with the sales and technology talent partners (TP’s) and senior leadership to drive excellence in all people operations strategies. 

 The right candidate will be comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a rapidly growing organization and will be adept at approaching current ways of doing things with an eye towards efficiency, streamlining and challenging the status quo.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside VP, People to develop a people strategy for the teams they support that encompasses the company mission, goals and vision 
  • Lead sales & technology team organizational planning, design, compensation and management coaching 
  • Work alongside VP of People Operations to support the Marketing and Finance teams. 
  • Partner with leaders to influence and promote excellence in all aspects of people management 
  • Partner with sales & growth leadership, as well as sales trainer to onboard new sales people, deliver an exceptional new hire experience as well as ensure training is structured to set up each individual for success 
  • Provide best practices coaching to sales team on developing and delivering superior training  
  • Drive employee engagement and productivity through department specific people initiatives 
  • Work alongside People Operations Manager to provide comprehensive monthly reporting to the Leadership on all people metrics such as recruitment, headcount growth, and engagement  
  • Partner with team managers to manage performance goals and create development plans for all sales & technology employees  
  • Be the point of contact and subject matter expert on employee relations matters and best practices  
  • Implement all center of excellence people operations initiatives as they relate to benefits, performance reviews, training and team engagement   
  • Champion all change management initiatives   
  • Work alongside Sales & Technology TP’s to help consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives 
  • Implements communications programs to increase employee engagement and morale. 
  • Assists team leaders and People Operations manager with successful onboarding for new employees and off-boarding for exiting employees. 
  • Manages communications/coordination of company programs and initiatives. 
  • Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of issues and resolves through a systematic and analytical approach. 
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and professionalism 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, business, marketing or any other relevant experience.  
  • Minimum of 5  years of evolving work experience in people operations, with a minimum of 2 years as an HRBP ideally in a start-up rapidly growing organization. 
  • Experience working with L&D and Sales teams to develop Sales training.
  • Experience working with Technology teams strongly preferred 
  • Proven ability to build relationships within a highly matrixed complex organization and establish trust amongst teams 
  • Must able to pivot between strategic and tactical execution with the ability to communication needs proactively and effectively  
  • Proven ability to engage teams and take a collaborative approach always with an eye on questioning the status quo  
  • Experienced with sales incentive & bonus compensation plans a plus 
  • HR thought leader with experience FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other federal and state laws covering discrimination and equal opportunity employment. Understanding when subject matter experts need to be engaged in these subjects. 
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse ATS preferred  
  • Coaching experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring managers 
  • Data-focused with an intermediate understanding of people & recruiting metrics. 
  • Intermediate excel skills. 
  • Healthcare and technology experience is a plus but not required.  
  • Microsoft Office & Sharepoint experience preferred. 
  • Effective communicator and collaborator. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of ownership and comfortable operating in ambiguity 
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively in decision-making 
  • Strong work ethic to exceed expectations and goals 
  • Coachable and able to take direction and feedback well, yet being forward-thinking to challenge the status quo
